Ann Creber Ann Creber is one of Melbourne’s most knowledgeable and passionate foodies. She is also an acclaimed author, food writer, food stylist, restaurant reviewer and food consultant. Standing out amongst Ann’s most memorable food and travel experiences are the times she spent in Thailand working on her stunning book Thailand the Beautiful and in a farmhouse in Provence. “This was the best time ever! I travelled alone though France by train for four weeks after only four French lessons. And I survived - thanks to the kindness of the French people I met along the way!” says Ann. Ann regularly conducts classes and workshops and can be found presenting entertaining and informative cooking demonstrations at the food and wine shows and exhibitions around Melbourne and the Yarra Valley region of Victoria where she lives. If you are not lucky enough to attend her shows, simply pop into your local library to check out her books: Luncheons, Oils, Vinegars, The Almost Healthy Cookbook and A Multitude of Fishes. Ann has also found time to create her own gourmet food range - Whispers from Provence - which includes handmade preservative free chutneys, marmalades, jams and vinegars. Her love of fresh produce shines through in all her work and her love of fresh Australian asparagus is no exception.
